As appears frum the transcript of the record

filed herein, F. W. Fickett was indicted on 23rd

day of October, 1911, by the Grand Jury of the

United States of America, chosen, selected and

sworn within and for the First Judicial District of

the Territory of Arizona, for the crime of unlaw-

fully interrupting, hindering and preventing by

threats and b}^ force the surveying of public lands

of the United States, by a person authorized to
