STATEMENT OF CASE

The above entitled suit embraces some sixteen cases

v.herein A. D. Daniels, claimant of beneficial interest in

and to certain forest lieu selections, is endeavoring, by

means of this suit in equity, to have the various timber and

stone and homestead claimants, to whom the lands involved

have been regularly patented by the United States, de-

clared to hold the legal title to said lands in trust for the
