STATEMENT OF THE CASE.
On March 16, 1911, Henry P. Lewis, an agent of
the New York Life Insurance Compan}^ induced Mr.
George S. Moats, a prominent farmer of Union
County, Oregon, to apply to him as the agent for two
policies of life insurance of $5,000.00 each. (Transcript,
