STATEMENT OF THE CASE.
This is an action for personal injury, the crushing
of the leg of Defendant in Error under a passenger
train of Plaintiff in Error, requiring amputation of
such limb at the knee-joint. The injury occurred at
the Railroad station of Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo
County, California, on October 8, 1910, at about
10:50 p. m. o'clock.
