APPELLANT.
Whatever our personal view of the soundness
of the decision in the Work-Jackpot case may be, it
concludes the proposition that after patent the ex-
istence of a vein in the discovery shaft is conclusive-
ly presumed, and in the absence of countervailing
testimony that such vein extends lengthwise of the
claim and is intersected by both endlines thereoof ;
and since it finds support from the decisions of the
